Training the Mind in Compassion: The 7-Point Mind Training
One of the most accessible methods of practicing vipassana or “insight” meditation in our tradition is through the 7-point mind training or lojong method, which combines instructions for formal meditation with special techniques for working with our minds throughout the day and night. This talk will give an overview of lojong along with guidance on how to proceed with it further.
