The Face of Enlightenment Part 3: Meditations on Race and Social Justice (on Zoom) 7 pm
December 7 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
This series will offer participants an opportunity to reflect on building compassion through the practice of Sending and Taking Meditation (Tonglen), contemplate the contributions of Black, Indigenous and People of Color, and mindfully explore racial differences.
The program will be contemplative-based with each session starting with Calm Abiding Meditation, followed by the main practice for that session and then closing prayers. There will also be time for discussion. Instructions will be given and no meditation experience is necessary. Attendance at every session is not required–join us when you can! The program will be led by Kathleen Thomas.
