The movie night this month is the third Wednesday, March 16 at 7:30 PM.
This month’s movie is Never Give Up: The Heart of Compassion
This documentary follows the 17th Karmapa as he leads the Kagyu Monlam prayer ceremony in Bodh Gaya, India, where the Buddha attained enlightenment. It includes interviews with the Karmapa and other important Kagyu teachers.
It also documents examples of compassion in action: people who have been motivated by the Karmapa’s teachings to improve the environment and the lives of people and animals in Bodh Gaya.
There is no charge. Donations are welcome.
