Our minds are constantly busy, swirling from thought to thought in a process referred to as “monkey mind” by Buddhist teachers. Meditation helps us make friends with and tame our “monkey,” increasing our mindfulness, stability and awareness and relieving the pressures of our goal-oriented lives. Led by This session will include instruction, practice, and discussion, and give you the tools you need to develop a regular sitting meditation practice of your own.
