Third Wednesday Movie Night

On the third Wednesday of the month it’s movie night, when we view films with themes connected to Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhist teachers.
This month’s movie is Milarepa: Magician, Murderer, Saint.
This film is a drama, filmed by a lama, Neten Chokling in 2006, that highlights the life of Tibet’s most famous yogi and mystic. When an 11th-century boy is denied his rightful inheritance, he studies sorcery in a quest for revenge. The Himalaya mountains provide a dramatic background.
