On the third Wednesday of the month it’s movie night, when we view films with themes connected to Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhist teachers.
This month’s movie is Tulku
This documentary film released in 2009, was written and directed by Gesar Mukpo, son of respected Tibetan Buddhist teacher Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche.
The documentary explores the experiences of those who are recognized as the incarnation of a previous masters. Gesar himself is recognized as the incarnation of one of Trungpa Rinpoche’s teachers.
