DESCRIPTION:Lama Karma Drodhul\, from our parent monastery Karma Triyana Dharmachakra\, will be visiting the Ann Arbor KTC July 17-19 to give teachings\, Refuge and Amitabha Empowerment. \nWe will be sharing some of the events over Zoom. \nClick on the individual events for more details. \nLama Karma Drodhul\, born in 1974 in Eastern Tibet\, became a monk at Thrangu Monastery at the age of twelve and after attending shedra (monastic college)\, received full ordination at the age of twenty. He came to the United States in 1997 and was his uncle\, Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche’s\, attendant since then until Khenpo Rinpoche’s passing away in 2019. He has completed two three-year retreats under Khenpo Rinpoche and is now co-retreat master at the Karme Ling Retreat Center in Delhi\, New York. \nLama Karma travels widely and brings a warm\, energetic vibrancy to his teaching and guidance of students. He is based at KTD in Woodstock\, New York. Lama Karma Drodul is a skilled writer in classical Tibetan.
